Container Unloading & Cargo Handling

Container unloading means destuffing a 20ft or 40ft box at a customs yard or warehouse: breaking down the stow, palletising, counting and moving the cargo on. How hard it gets depends on the load — palletised goods come out on a forklift, hand-stowed cartons and sacks come out piece by piece. REGT crews work both ways. Where there is no fixed dock, a mobile ramp bridges the gap between trailer bed and ground.

What the job covers

  • Unloading and loading of 20' and 40' containers
  • Breaking down hand-stowed cartons, sacks and loose cargo
  • Lifting palletised cargo with forklifts and pallet trucks
  • Mobile ramp transfer between trailer bed and ground level
  • Piece count and visual damage check during unloading
  • Routing cargo onward to the depot, bonded warehouse or outbound vehicle

Frequently asked

Bir konteynerin tahliyesi ne kadar sürer?

What sets the time is not the box size but how the cargo was stowed. Palletised loads come out quickly on a forklift; hand-stowed cartons or sacks take several times longer. Tell us the cargo type, whether it is palletised, and the site conditions, and we will give you a job-specific estimate.

Rampası olmayan sahada tahliye yapılabilir mi?

Yes. Where there is no fixed dock we bring a mobile ramp, set it to the trailer bed height, and the forklift drives straight into the container. Where the stow is too tight or too heavy for that, the box is emptied by hand.

Tahliye sırasında sayım ve hasar kaydı tutuluyor mu?

Yes. Piece and pallet counts are taken during unloading and any visible damage is recorded. Anything that does not match is reported to you when the job closes.
